UFC President Dana White confirmed that he was working on making the “super classic” battle between Jon Jones and Israel Adesanya a reality in 2021.

Fans are always looking forward to the match between Jon Jones and Israel Adesanya, but there are many reasons for these two punches to be resolved in the octagon, instead of the battle of words on social networks.

That attraction makes President Dana White determined to hook up for these two punches to have a chance to fight. Recently, he confirmed that he would promote the two names at the meeting next year. This is good news for martial arts fans.

“It was the match I wanted to see. Before that, people asked me which match I want to play the most in 2021. It was the match I chose,” White said.

However, White has not made it clear when Jones plans to return. He just said that the relationship between himself and the former Light Heavyweight champion has been better. Previously, “Bones” repeatedly dissatisfied with the remuneration received from the UFC and gave up the title to move to heavyweight, causing them to conflict.

“Jones and I had a great talk last week. He’s ready to come back. He and I are in a good relationship”, White said.

He also said that both punches Jones and Adesanya are interested in meeting on the radio in the future.

However, this match is unlikely to take place early next year, when Jones has just moved to the heavyweight and is scheduled to play against a Top 10 opponent to heat up.

The relationship between Jon Jones and Dana White has been improved making it easier to schedule matches.

Meanwhile, Adesanya wants to win the heavy lower belt held by Jan Blachowicz.

“Both of them liked the idea. I also liked that game. It would be very interesting if it happened,” White added about the unofficial Light Heavyweight title match between Jan Blachowicz and Adesanya that could take place in March 2021.

Still, many things could happen next month. White said he is taking next steps with Jon Jones. He wanted to see a game where the audience was screaming passionately from the very beginning.
